The CARLOS men's short-sleeved merino wool T-shirt is a single-sided knit fabric made from a 50/50 blend of fine merino wool (17 microns) and acrylic fibers. It's suitable as a base layer year-round. The combination of merino wool and acrylic wicks moisture away from the body while providing warmth in all conditions. The acrylic fibers also make the knit stronger and the resulting garment more durable. It's ideal for activities like backpacking or team sports as a base layer.

Regarding the acrylic material:

Acrylic is a synthetic fiber made from polyacrylonitrile and is used in clothing as an affordable, easy-care alternative to wool. # Properties of Acrylic Clothing: Acrylic clothing is lightweight, soft, warm, and durable. It is often used as a substitute for wool or cashmere because it offers a similar feel and look, but is usually less expensive.
