Made using the Lasting special weaving method. This allows the functional properties of merino wool to be more pronounced than in a merino-polyester blend. Therefore, these merino shirts are also ideally suited for athletic use.

ALAN is a 160g long-sleeved jersey made from 100% Australian merino wool. Woven from the finest 16-micron merino wool, it's completely comfortable and won't itch or scratch. This jersey is ideal for leisure activities, whether worn as a base layer on winter days or as a mid-layer in spring, summer, and autumn. The sleeves and flat seams enhance comfort. The 16-micron thread makes it exceptionally soft. Merino wool is highly antibacterial and antimicrobial, naturally eliminating odors and allowing for longer wear times between washes than other materials. It also boasts excellent moisture-wicking properties, keeping you warm and dry even in extreme weather conditions.

Details about merino wool

Merino wool comes from specially bred sheep that live in cold and damp regions (New Zealand, Australia). In these harsh environments, the sheep produce natural fibers that humans cannot replicate. These fibers are much finer than conventional wool. Merino wool is silky soft, has superior insulating properties, and is more breathable. Clothing made from long fibers of very fine merino wool offers the wearer comfort and softness. Each fiber is crimped and elastic, resulting in high durability and a long lifespan for the fabric. Thanks to the elasticity of the fibers, the wool clothing does not wrinkle. Wool fibers are very hydrophilic and have a high absorption capacity. Merino wool offers excellent protection against UV radiation. Its production is environmentally friendly and based on the principle of renewable resources.
